The Australian Alps, with all their richness, complexity and power to engage, are offered as a resource for secondary students and their teachers who are studying Geography, Aboriginal Studies, Australian History, Biology, Outdoor and Environmental Science, and Tourism.
Information has been grouped into a series of factsheets on soils, climate, vegetation, fauna, fire, Aboriginal people, mining, grazing, water catchment, recreation and tourism, and conservation - catering for the curriculum needs of students from Year 7 to 12, across New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Victoria.
